Am pleased to be involved with an upcoming photography exhibition to be held at the Domain House Gallery, the Royal Botanic Gardens showcasing the work of 22 Victorian photographers. The exhibition features nature & wildlife photography and will run from 7th – 24th February. I’ve seen a sneak peek of some of the works & I think it’ll be terrific. I’m delighted to have just found out that one of the images from our Antarctic trip earlier this year has just been awarded “Best Wildlife Behaviour” in the annual Aurora Expeditions Antarctic Photography Competition. Every time I look at these images it reminds me of the fantastic adventure we had and the wonderful people that we met during our voyage. We were so lucky on so many levels, it really was the trip of a lifetime. There are a few more of these images on the Gallery pages.
We had a fabulous time during our trip to Antarctica. Loads of penguins, seals, sea lions, leopard seals, whales, albatross, snow petrels……..you name. It’s just such a special place to go. I’m still sorting through the images but here’s a quick taste of some of what we saw. Click on each image to open full-size in a new window.
